I made an appointment with Dr. AYDIN for rhinoplasty in February 2024. I had booked well in advance, so I had time to think carefully and evaluate everything before making a final decision. It has been 3.5 months since the surgery, and honestly, it was the best decision I have ever made. I have no regrets. Dr. Aydın's Instagram page had a link to the WhatsApp reservation system, where I booked my date and paid my deposit. Since I booked so far in advance, I didn’t hear anything for a few months. During this time, I arranged my hotel and flight tickets, and Dr. Aydın’s amazing assistant helped me with everything I needed. She provided a list of nearby hotels and organized both airport transfers for free. She was incredible and very helpful with the flight and hotel arrangements. As the date approached, Dr. Aydın’s assistant was in constant communication. She took the hotel name and flight information, organized my transfers, gave me all the information I needed before arrival, explained what would happen on the day I arrived, told me what to bring, answered every question I asked, and reassured me when I was a little anxious/nervous. I got on my plane, and my transfer was waiting for me right on time. They took me directly to my hotel, and I didn’t have to do anything—everything was prearranged. On that day, I went to Dr. Aydın’s office, met him and his assistant in person, signed all the forms, and had my consultation. Dr. Aydın really listened to what I wanted to achieve with the surgery and also shared his realistic expectations. He considered my body composition, height, and facial symmetry and assessed the nose that would suit my face best. For example, I am 1.75 m tall, so a very tiny “pixie nose” wouldn’t suit my height and structure; Dr. AYDIN told me that a very natural nose would suit me best. I was very pleased because it was exactly what I wanted, and he genuinely worked to meet my expectations realistically. He never promised anything he couldn’t achieve and was always honest and realistic during the consultation. The next day was surgery day!! Everything went very smoothly; the assistant and nurse took great care of me before and after surgery and were always ready for anything I needed. The hospital was beautiful, very clean, and cozy; I had my own room, my friend stayed with me overnight, and they even treated me to lunch! The surgery and hospital experience were amazing. I was truly well cared for. The next day, I went from the hospital to the doctor’s office, had a small check-up, and checked that I was doing well. I was instructed on how to care for my nose until the cast was removed. I received detailed information about my medications and their purposes. Even better, my assistant sent me all this information via message in case I might forget! Amazing! I spent the next 5 days recovering and resting and then returned to Dr. Aydın’s clinic. Overall, my experience in Turkey was wonderful. Dr. Aydın was amazing, and his assistant was also wonderful, very sweet and attentive. They truly took great care of me. It has been 3.5 months since the surgery, and my nose is exactly as I wanted. Dr. Aydın still checks every 2–3 weeks and is always there if I have any questions. I received many messages asking for photos and updates and even had a few FaceTime calls to check that everything was okay.
